Abstract: This paper explores the developments in capital markets in Singapore. The objective of this study is to examine the impact and effectiveness of the key initiatives implemented on the Singapore capital markets, which include the equity market, debt market and derivative market. A background discussion on the equity, debt as well as the derivatives markets will be provided. In addition, the study will also examine the developments and performance of the capital markets.
