Training the sales force in Singapore : a comparative study of international and local retailers

Abstract

This study investigates the differences between international and domestic retailers, identifying factors related to training which contribute to customers' perception that international retailers are superior to domestic retailers. Upon analysing these differentiating factors, we then explained the differences between the above-mentioned retailers in terms of organisational structure, attitudes of employess, training procedures etc.
