Abstract: This paper seeks to provide an overview of the market for Sukuk, or Islamic bonds. This financial instrument, which complies with Islamic Shariah law, is increasingly gaining in acceptance worldwide. In this paper, we hope to achieve a deeper understanding of Sukuk as an asset class, focusing on the following issues.
