Abstract: The objective of this study is to examine the roles played by private and public agencies in Singapore’s manpower development. This study aims to identify the expectations of Singapore-based local and multinational companies for the supply of required skills and competencies.Subsequently, surveys and interviews are conducted to understand the contributions of these agencies towards Singapore’s manpower development.
