Abstract

To investigate whether business managers use stereotypes to make business decisions, focusing on: i. effects of thought suppresion on impression formation in the pre-interview phase; ii. presence of racial and gender biases in a job-shortlisting process; & iii. which of the 3 VALS group tend to use stereotypes more than others.
