Abstract: This study investigates whether a new regulation which requires listed companies to provide adequate corporate governance disclosure (without specifying the nature and extent of such disclosure) would lead to an improvement in the level of corporate governance disclosure in Singapore. The effect of the regulation on the determinants of corporate governance disclosure is also examined.
