dc.description.abstractOrigin-destination travel survey data from the 1991 Singapore home interview survey commissioned by Public Work Department (Singapore) gave the opportunity to analyse parking characteristics in Singapore. Information on parking characteristics such as parking accumulation, volume and duration distribution with respect to trip purpose and time of travel, as well as temporal and spatial travel patterns are the prerequisites for proper car park planning and management.en_US
