dc.description.abstractLeachate from the Singapore Lorong Halus landfill was highly contaminated. Due to the high stabilized characteristic of the leachate, only physical/chemical treatment methods were applicable to it. Among these methods, conventional RO membrane process is considered as promising. However, high energy consumption and fouling problem could hamper its wide application.en_US
