dc.description.abstractHydrographic surveys are important for land reclamation works. The profiles of seabed have to be determined before, during and after the land reclamation works. The current practice of hydrographic surveys uses echo sounder to obtain sounding depth, Real Time Differential Global Positioning System (RTDGPS) for vessel position and telemetric tide gauge for changes in sea level.en_US
