Abstract: In this study, an externally hybrid membrane photocatalytic oxidation (MPCO) bubbling reactor system was developed and coupled with suspended TiO2 catalyst to destroy the model bacteria (Escherichia Coliform) primarily for controlling biomass fouling in the Reverse Osmosis (RO) purification of biologically treated wastewater into potable water.
