Abstract: This project is carried out to study the change in the quality of treated wastewater (second effluent) as it is recharged through a reclaimed land medium. Laboratory-scale soil column experiments were performed to examine the factors such as resident time, flow velocity and travel distance on the removal of recharged water contaminants during soil aquifer treatment (SAT) processes. The soil medium used in the study was obtained from the Changi reclaimed land.
