Title: Dynamics of metallic and reinforced concrete targets subjected to projectile impact
Authors: Chen, Xiaowei.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Civil engineering::Structures and design
Issue Date: 2003
Abstract: Firstly, a comprehensive literature review on hard projectile penetration/perforation for both reinforced and plain concrete targets is presented. It includes strain-rate effects, empirical formulate, analytical methods and numerical simulations. Subsequently, based on a mechanical model and taken advantages of dimensional analysis, two dimensionless numbers are defined.
