Abstract: An elasto-plastic model for unsaturated soil with the incorporation of soil-water characteristic curve (SWCC) was proposed in this study. The proposed model was verified with experimental data. Reasonably good agreements between the analytical simulations based on the proposed elasto-plastic model with the incorporation of SWCC were obtained in this study.
