Abstract: The purpose of this research is to develop a Wind Prediction System (WPS) implemented by knowledge-based expert system concepts. It has been developed to predict wind speeds over areas in Singapore. This has been accomplished through the adoption of established wind engineering models, adaptation to local wind characteristics and intensive data audit.
