Finance and marketing decisions for using precast components and conventional cast-in-situ reinforced concrete structures in Singapore

Abstract

This dissertation will initiate a study on how the cost of precast components can be lowered to the equivalent or below the cost of cast in situ concrete. A case study of a large warehouse will be used to illustrate this point and the various types of cost savings.
