Issue Date: 2002
Abstract: This study is the first report on the molecular microbial ecology of aerobic granules. The goals of this project is to use advanced molecular biological methods to survey the constituents of microbial communities associated with young, mature and old granules cultivated in a SASB bioreactor, to define the bacterial populations responsible for the shifts of bacterial community.
