Abstract: The goal of this research is to examine the feasibility of mobilizing the indigenous bacteria to treat petroleum-contaminated Singapore seawater. The study reports the successful isolation of three indigenous naphthalene-degrading bacteria from oil-contaminated Singapore marine sediments by direct and enrichment culture isolation method on marine agar.
