Driver performance during the traffic signal change interval

Abstract

This research in centred on the study of human factors of drivers responding to the amber onset at the traffic signals. The scope of investigation covered two principal characteristics of driver performance: driver performance parameters for signal design which comprised the perception-making in response to the signal change interval.
