Abstract: The anaerobic hybrid reactor is a developing technology for the treatment of both industrial and domestic wastewaters. A number of full-scale systems have been successfully installed to treat a variety types of wastewaters since 1981. Meanwhile, the design parameters have been extensively studied in the laboratory.
