Communication interface between computer and controller using finsgateway services for warehouse automation application

Abstract

A Simulator program has been developed to act as an interface for communication between computer and controller. This Simulator program uses FinsGateway Services which installed in the computer so that the computer is treated the same as a controller. The communication interface is implemented in a warehouse automation system whereby the messages such as commands and confirmations are exchanged between computer and controller. Designing the data representation and the flow of the communication are the main tasks in developing the Simulator program.
