Abstract: In this thesis, an optical synchronous code division multiple access (S/CDMA) frequency hopping (FH) system is proposed. The system performance characteristics such as system throughput and number of active users of the proposed system have been analyzed. The results show that the proposed system can provide higher system throughput as compared with optical S/CDMA time spreading (TS) system.
