dc.description.abstractModern programmable logic controllers provides many advanced programming features that make the PLCs user-friendly. The dissertation describes elevator control system with ladder logic diagram. The dissertation also described about how the ladder logic diagram can be translated into sequential functions charts. This dissertation is explaining ladder logic diagram and sequential function charts. It is concluded SFC is an intuitive and is an ease for maintenance and troubleshooting.en_US
