When it comes to making big decision where the public is involved voting has always been a decision tool for society when deciding major issues in the community. Therefore, it is crucial that the voting system does not have much flaws that can detriment the result. However, there are many issues in the present time such as accessibility, age & technical experience, bias, and accountability and verifiability. The objective of this project is to investigate what is blockchain technology and research and develop an application around blockchain to solve some of these issues stated above. eVoting is the application proposed to simplify the process and reduce some of those issues. eVoting is run on the Ethereum blockchain network. With the deployment of smart contracts, it makes the polls harder to hack into as the number of voters increase as the encryption is based on the previous block of data (vote). This would effectively mitigate issues such as verifiability as it would be difficult to hack and manipulate the data once all the votes are in.en_US
