Abstract: Formula to Fame is a final year journalism project that covers the different aspects of what it takes to be a social media influencer in Singapore today. Written with Rice Media as our target publication, we adopted an objective and critical mindset as we delved into the multiple facets of an influencer career. To put together this project, we included the takes of industry players such as public relations agencies, marketing companies, influencers themselves and their managers. Through this feature, readers will understand why and how influencers do the things they do.
