Abstract: This thesis aims to analyze the narrative and technical core concepts of the game, TimeOut. The research focuses on social disparities in societies and the development of the visual environment that helps depicts these disparities. This study also breaks down the technicalities between the making of a pixel art 3D environment and the aesthetics behind game development.
