In this digital age, it’s has become crucial to build an online persona in order to curate content for optimal self-presentation. This digital curation creates a filtered version of reality in the online world that begin to set societal norms and trends. Social media usage provides us a platform for engaging with our peers and others whom we may not even have met. This makes online social comparison ubiquitous. Human’s egoistic nature actuates a competitive kind of comparison, which drives our desire to surpass the other. Leading to a vicious cycle that will never be enough when people are constantly trying to better themselves and outdo others.   Named ‘Not _ Enough’, the project is be a fictitious e-commerce that pokes fun at the superficiality and absurdity of social media. It illustrates competitive online social comparison and the psychological impact of such acts. Through readymade/quirky products representing different lifestyles, these items are 'sold' to help raise one's competitiveness in the online social media world. This project ultimately aims to encourage us to rethink the way we react to online content that results in possible detrimental impact on mental health. To understand that the best version of ourself is never a replica of another. Keywords: Visual Communication; Web design; 1970s; Online Social Comparison; Envy; Competitionen_US
