Title: | Development of a device free tracking system for human-robot interaction | Authors: | Tan, Nelson Guo Xiang | Keywords: | Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering | Issue Date: | 2020 | Publisher: | Nanyang Technological University | Project: | A1034-191 | Abstract: | Human robot interaction is commonly utilized across all fields, but particularly more common in manufacturing industry due to the rise of automation and the benefits of increased productivity and efficiency it brings along. However, due to safety precautions, there have been safety practices put in place to prevent accidents from the interaction. One such practice is the safeguard zone; it is essentially an engineering control measure to allow human robot interaction to occur but not over a prolonged period of time. In this project, we study the ability to reduce that safety buffer zone where human robot interaction can work seamlessly. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/138929 | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
