Title: | Quantum well infrared photodetector graphical user interface simulation | Authors: | Chan, Darren | Keywords: | Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering | Issue Date: | 2020 | Publisher: | Nanyang Technological University | Project: | A2059-191 | Abstract: | The use of InGaAs/AlGaAs Quantum Well (QW) lasers has become prevalent in fiber communications. By operating at a wavelength of 1.55um, optical loss is minimum. Simulations with varying InGaAs compositions have been ran to determine the best configuration. Additionally, the program had been upgraded from VB6 to VB.net. Microsoft had stopped supporting VB6 and directed its resources towards .net. Thus, an upgrade was necessary. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/140324 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
