This increase in demand creates challenges for utilities as thy would have to match this increase in demand and generate sufficient amount of electricity. Hence, it is important to use Demand Side Management (DSM) to help to utilise our current energy in a more efficient manner In this project, we will be designing an autonomous DSM algorithm with the help of game theory. Currently, there are existing DSM programs, however this programs usually requires consumers to reveal their private data. The aim of the project is to design an autonomous DSM algorithm that will help to produce a more desirable demand curve while protecting the private data of consumers.
