Abstract: Energy conservation is widely regarded as the means to safeguard the health and well-being of every life form on the planet. The advantages of energy conservation to the earth are plenty, such as higher environmental quality, national and international security, personal financial security and prevention of future resource depletion. In this project, we will be focusing on one of the most used electronic components in the world, the Light Emitting Diodes (LED). LEDs’ advantages over incandescent light sources include lower energy consumption, longer lifetime, improved physical robustness, smaller size, and faster switching.
