|Title:||Parenting behaviors and their relationship to adolescent adjustment||Authors:||Ong, Ai Choo.||Keywords:||DRNTU::Social sciences::Sociology::Family, marriage and women||Issue Date:||1999||Abstract:||This research explores the relationships between perceived parenting behaviors and adolescent adjustment. While there exists a large body of Western research on the impact of child-rearing behaviors on adolescent development and adjustment, very few studies have been done in Asian contexts. The findings of the study contribute to existing cross-cultural research as well as provide useful data that will enable policy makers to address key issues in the design of parenting and adolescent programs.||URI:||http://hdl.handle.net/10356/14118||Fulltext Permission:||restricted||Fulltext Availability:||With Fulltext|
