Title: Derivation of the stress and displacement fields of twist disclinations

Abstract: In an infinitely long elastic solid, the classical solutions for disclinations have been solved by the integration of disclinations densities [1] by deWit [2]. This paper solves the equilibrium equations straight from the twist disclinations and compares them to the classical solution. However, the classical solutions contain terms that are dimensionally dubious which motivated for another method to solve for the disclinations. The aim of this project is to come up with a separate method and compare it with the classical solution to highlight the differences between the results.
