Abstract: Augmented Reality (AR) has started to integrate into our lives in recent years. AR technology has been widely used in essential industries as it provides the ability to layer virtual object into our real world. With smartphones being one of the most essential device in our life now, AR takes a huge step forward as more people can make use of the technology for their daily needs. This project is targeted at a specific group of people which is NTU students. It will showcase the two different ways that AR can be used in our daily life to provide information and entertainment. These two ways include navigation process for students in the school and also games that will provide entertainment in their free time. This report aims to provide a detailed explanation of each component, the navigation aspect and gaming aspect. It will include details on the design and implementation of the project. Lastly, suggestions for future development are provided.
