Abstract: With current uncertainly economic climate, cost saving is the main avenue for ship’s owner to remain competitive in this turbulent market. With ship’s owner call to reduce escalating ship’s operation costs. The aims of this project will relook how using new product of marine anti-fouling coating paint available on the market and apply to rectify the challenge faced by the industry. A test vessel provided by a ship’s owner company Sentek Marine & Trading Pte Ltd will be selected as case study. The test results will be presented and discussed on whether the new paint coating will have any impact on ship performance improvement especially on port limit vessel.
