Designt an AR app for NTU learning trails

Abstract

As technology progresses, augmented reality has been gaining traction especially in the education industry. Schools have been trying to implement augmented reality into the educational system to enhance educational process. Augmented Reality has been considered the next big leap that education industry can take. It allows enhanced interaction between users and knowledge. This report covers the design process of an application to assist NTU’s educational system with the help of augmented reality. To simplify the development process, the author went through different types of development tools that are used for the creation of Augmented Reality applications. The author also did a survey to better understand and analyze the feedback of his application. Finally, this report states the limitations and future development for applications with augmented reality.
