Abstract: The purpose of this research was to explore how the use of learning objects helped students learn and compare it against the traditional method of learning and teaching. With the Ministry of Education’s push towards more usage of information technology in education, it would be of interest to explore the contributory value of learning objects towards learning and teaching. The use of learning objects was for the Primary 4 syllabus of decimals in Mathematics. Specifically, the use of learning objects in teaching students learn the tenths place in decimals.
