dc.description.abstractWith the proliferation number of vehicles on the road in Singapore. Parking problems are bound to exist. This due to the fact of multi-story huge car parks in most of the shopping malls or HDB flats. In the market, some of the parking systems are built with various sensors to help detect vacancy slots. However, this could be costly. Therefore, the QR Code Parking System has been developed. With the implementation of the QR Code Parking System. Patrons can easily locate a vacant parking slot. By scanning the QR code on the parking lot, users shall reserve the slot or find the shortest path to locate the slot. By making use of the information carried by QR code, time spent on finding parking space and finding vehicles can be significantly reduced without any extra cost such as camera or sensor.en_US
