Mobile app to promote environmental awareness

Abstract

This project focuses on the Android mobile application development to promote the environmental awareness by using the garbage classification tools to encourage our citizen pay more attention to protect our home environment. The main features of this application allows people to easily understand the definition of each category wastes, by typing the daily produce wastes wording to search it belongs to which wastes category. Lastly, users can use the map function to find the nearest dustbin to disposal the wastes by input the key location name or postal code. To development the GoRecycleGreen Android mobile application, the OSS (Open-Source Software) Android studio software 4.0 (Build #AI-192.6911.18.40.6514223) used for key IDE (Integrated Development Environment) and MySQL used as the software database.
