Report on professional internship with Burson Marsteller (SEA) Pte Ltd.

Abstract

The following is a report about my internship experience at Burson Marsteller (SEA) Pte Ltd. It includes a short introduction on the company, followed by a detailed description of some of the duties, tasks and projects I undertook at my short duration in BM. The main client I served was Hewlett-Packard’s Personal Systems Group (HP PSG) in Singapore. My tasks mainly included media monitoring, research, client reports, content editing and creation, and two main projects which I undertook. The projects include a launch event for the HP 2133 Mini-Note PC, and another massive big-scale product launch event held in Berlin whereby the Singapore team provided assistance to the HP global team. Following that is a segment on my personal reflections of my internship experience. Appendices showcasing some of the work I have done for BM have also been included at the back of the document. Overall, I found myself enjoying my entire internship experience I had with BM, and I trust that this has built a strong foundation and stepping stone for myself even as I prepare for the corporate world ahead.
