Title: | Design and optimization of SPR biosensors | Authors: | Bi, Yishun | Keywords: | Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Optics, optoelectronics, photonics | Issue Date: | 2021 | Publisher: | Nanyang Technological University | Source: | Bi, Y. (2021). Design and optimization of SPR biosensors. Master's thesis, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. https://hdl.handle.net/10356/147067 | Abstract: | In this work, a SPR-based sensor is designed by using Nb2O5/MgF2 layers. The sensor has a structure that consists of 4 prism-gold-Nb2O5-MgF2 thin layers. Besides, prisms made of three different glasses (SF10, SF11 and BK7) are used for the study. The investigation is conducted in the wavelength range covering from 532nm to 1064nm. The studies have mainly focused on the optical properties of the sensor like sensitivity, reflectivity, and incident angle. The key parameters of the SPR sensor are effectively optimized by analyzing the results of the studies. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/147067 | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
