Despite most Singaporeans aged 21 and above being registered organ donors under the Human Organ Transplant Act, Singapore still faces organ shortage year after year. With more than 450 patients currently on the transplant waiting list, organ transplant remains an elusive topic among Singaporeans. Through our feature package, we hope to navigate conversations surrounding organ transplant, explore the reasons behind Singapore's organ shortage, and uncover stories from the perspectives of donors, recipients and doctors.en_US
