Final Year Project (FYP), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. https://hdl.handle.net/10356/148197 | Project: | SCSE20-0271 | Abstract: | Household food waste in Singapore has been increasing over the years. Each household contributed about $258 worth of food waste annually. Many valuable resources were wasted as a result. The common reasons for generating food waste are overbuying and lack of attitude and knowledge towards food. Individual effort is needed to minimize food waste to conserve precious resources and to protect the environment. In this report, a mobile application, FoodCord, was developed using flutter with the aim to help users better plan and store their food in a convenient way. FoodCord also educates users on food literacy by providing tips and tricks regarding food wastage prevention. This report provides documentation on the requirement analysis, design, implementation, and system testing of FoodCord. Finally, user study was conducted based on the technology acceptance model to determine the acceptance towards using FoodCord. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/148197 | Schools: | School of Computer Science and Engineering | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
