Title: Through the looking glass : internet users' perceptions of socio-political blog credibility in Singapore.
Authors: Heng, Linda.
Keywords: DRNTU::Social sciences::Mass media
Issue Date: 2008
Abstract: This dissertation examines Internet users’ perceptions of Socio-Political Blogs’ (SPB) credibility in Singapore. It is modeled after 2 studies of the US Blogosphere: “Wag the Blog” (Johnson and Kaye, 2004) and “Every Blog has its Day” (Johnson, Kaye, Bichard and Wong, 2007). The research sought to identify differences in credibility perceptions between readers and non-readers of SPB, as well as identify characteristics that could influence their credibility perceptions of SPB in Singapore.
