Abstract: Two of the most frequently used techniques for stock analysis are fundamental and technical analysis. This project aims to explore the feasibility and usefulness of incorporating both techniques into a hybrid analysis technique, to identify the best healthcare stocks listed in the Singapore Stock Exchange. In-depth study of companies’ financials using fundamental analysis will be conducted, and TradingView, a charting software will be used to study the characteristics and effects of technical aspects of a stock. The project concludes with a final simulation for year 2021. It was discovered that using fundamental analysis to identify fundamentally sound stocks and detailed analysis of trends and technical indicators to trade fundamentally sound stocks resulted to profitable returns when concluding the final simulation in year 2021.
