Final Year Project (FYP), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. https://hdl.handle.net/10356/148987 | Abstract: | Pandera is a Virtual Reality Interactive Storytelling Experience modelled like a 3D Storybook, designed with Unreal Engine 4. It tells the story of the Chimeric Pandemic in Singapore, where the infected turn into Mutants. As the audience, they play as a child on the way home after a quarantine period in the hospital. On the way home, they will explore their neighbourhood infected by the long-running virus. Prior research highlights that popular media’s expression of pandemics are often riddled with false information and rabid assumptions. Through Pandera’s open concept exploration, I hope to inform the masses about what truly happens during a pandemic, and how Singapore mitigates the issue. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/148987 | Schools: | School of Art, Design and Media | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
