Final Year Project (FYP), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. https://hdl.handle.net/10356/149087 | Project: | A2053-201 | Abstract: | Portable battery chargers have become a necessity in our daily life. How is it so? Main reason is due to the increase usage of devices such as smartphones, tablets and notebooks in modern technological world, which cause the internal battery to drain out at a faster rate. However, for portable battery chargers, no variation in voltage output can occur when charging and charging only allows a single kind of voltage output. For this cause, it would be beneficial to use a DC power supply instead. Benefits of a power supply includes flexibility in changing users required charging voltages, prevention of overcurrent damages to devices, and incorporation of smart technology implementation. With such benefits, a full and precise integration is needed to ensure the functionality of the power supply. This report will describe the overall integration parts of the DC power supply with an Arduino microcontroller. It acts as a focal point for processes to go through during integration. Hardware devices such as LCD, digital potentiometer and Bluetooth / Wi-Fi modules are also involved, where it can be programmed for its respective purposes. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/149087 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
