Abstract: This project aims to add autonomous functions to an existing electric vehicle, named the Nanyang Venture 11, to realise an autonomous vehicle (AV), also known as self-driving vehicle, driverless vehicle, etc. The plan was designed and built by engineering students from the College of Engineering, at the Nanyang Technological University. The students are mostly from the Schools of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, and some from the School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE), School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), and the Renaissance Engineering Program (REP). The AV will participate in the upcoming autonomous category of the Shell Eco Marathon competition
