Image inpainting. Final Year Project (FYP), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. https://hdl.handle.net/10356/149658 | Project: | A3013-201 | Abstract: | In this report, the focus will be on image inpainting, a type of image restoration in image processing. There are many ways to fill up the missing pixels of an image. This study will discuss on the different methods of image inpainting. The aim is to fill the corrupted area of the image with the existing neighbouring pixels. The code reads an image selected by the user, converts it into a grayscale image, detects the missing area and creates a binary image. Using the binary image and the grayscale image, the code will loop through pixel by pixel to replace the missing pixels. The results were not as accurate and smooth. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/149658 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
