Spinning dreams. Final Year Project (FYP), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. https://hdl.handle.net/10356/149664 | Abstract: | "Spinning Dreams" is a 2D animated short film created by Li Xuan Wei, Loh Kee, and Leong Bei Yi. It aims to touch the hearts of people who have experienced a similar journey. Another aim is to learn the process of creating a 2D short film from ideation to production. Set in ancient China, the film tells the story of a young boy who struggles between his dream of joining the circus as an acrobat and his duty to his family business. This project explores traditional Chinese art (such as paintings, patterns, and sculptures) and re-designing them into a film for a modern audience as part of the visual development process. | URI: | https://hdl.handle.net/10356/149664 | Schools: | School of Art, Design and Media | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
