Abstract: LoRa Technology has been on the rise lately in the IoT network. As the LoRa Network is known for its longer battery life and distance coverage, this project will use the GPS to test the effectiveness of the LoRa Network in a jungle setting. The designed LoRa device in this project seeks to monitor the GPS location of an animal and track its movements and use an external camera module device to capture images of the surroundings for viewing references. In addition, an RFID reader antenna is designed in this project to track the seed dispersal carried by animals crossing over the eco-link bridge across BKE. This paper will present the tests and results of the designed LoRa device/Camera module device and the RFID reader antenna to examine if the devices are feasible to use in their respective area settings.
